John H. President
John Heutmaker, President and co-founder of Bulldog Contractors, is proud that the company has gained and sustained a high reputation of integrity and quality workmanship in the residential and commercial restoration construction industry.
After graduating from University of Thomas with a BA in accounting, John began his accounting career in public accounting, responsible for audits and reviews for several of the firms clients in the manufacturing and service sectors. He became a licensed CPA (license now inactive) and has worked in private enterprise in a number of management positions as Controller and/or CFO.
John has been serving as outsourced CFO/Controller through Heutmaker Business Advisors, which he founded in 2003. With over 25 years experience working on both sides of the accounting/finance table, his ownership approach to co-founding Bulldog Contractors naturally included solid accounting principles.
The restoration and renovation construction industry is packed with a diverse group of residential and commercial contractors. Johns mission and background as a company founder, is to assure Bulldog Contractors maintains financial strength in order to take care of their customers for the long haul. Homeowners and property managers not only receive excellent quality and service, they can be confident their contractor of choice will be there for them for the long haul.
When time permits, John enjoys golf, hockey, bowling, and spending time with his family at the cabin.
